• Access for contractors and deliveries is normal except as noted in the Security Advisory;
• REDUCE SPEEDS; APPROACH INTERSECTIONS WITH CAUTION;

Winter Conditions

• Access for contractors and deliveries is normal unless noted in the Security Advisory;
• Check the Mt Rose Highway reports for chains or 4WD; use vehicles with snow tires;
• Advise employees and subcontractors to bring vehicles equipped for winter road conditions;
• REDUCE SPEEDS; APPROACH INTERSECTIONS WITH CAUTION;
• Normal daytime parking restrictions apply; Be prepared to clear streets for snow removal activities;

Snow Caution Conditions

• The Construction Gate may be closed; check the posted schedule;
• Do not schedule deliveries before checking restrictions on access;
• Check the Mt Rose Highway reports for chains or 4WD; use vehicles with snow tires;
• Most large trucks or trailers will be denied access;
• Any vehicle without proper tires or chains will be denied access;
• Limit non-essential workers and minimize the number of vehicles at construction sites;
• Street parking may be terminated at any time as necessary for snow clearing;
• REDUCE SPEEDS; APPROACH INTERSECTIONS WITH CAUTION;

Snow Emergency Conditions

• Contractor access is primarily limited to emergencies;
• Instruct employees and subcontractors not to report to Montreux;
• Non-emergency access is limited to those previously cleared through Montreux Security;
• Check the Mt Rose Highway reports for chains or 4WD; use vehicles with snow tires;
• Vehicles not equipped for severe winter road conditions will be denied access;
• Street parking is not permitted;
