Security updates from Montreux Security Personnel.
The following information is for our Home Owners during the Winter season.
1. Winterize your home.
2. Recommend setting thermostats a minimum of 58 degrees.
3. Recommend that you leave your faucets drip overnight. That includes both cold and hot faucets.
4. Recommend that you know were to secure water to house. It is located by the street wth your water meter. Have an ajustable crescent wrench handy to secure water in an emergency.
5. If your sinks are against an outside wall, leave the vanity door open so interior heat can reach the pipes.
6. Have the telephone number by the phone to your Plumber.
NOTIFY SECURITY WHEN YOU ARE LEAVING OVERNIGHT. ENSURE SECURITY HAS UP TO DATE TELEPHONE NUMBERS OR A MEANS OF ACCESS TO YOUR HOME.
